Halloween Plants Vs. Zombies and the Hex Girls

This year for Halloween Theo was a peashooter and Jay was a zombie,  both from the video game Plants Verses Zombies.

Jay made himself his mask and found accurate clothes to destroy. He also made Theo's helmet with the cool peashooter.
The girls and I were the Hex Girls from Scooby-Doo and we're gonna put a spell on you!
Between the 2 events and trick or treating, the kids got a lot of candy from some very generous people.
Theo wanted to sort his candy. Miri followed his lead. Wendy decided to just count hers. She got into the 40s, which was some very impressive counting for her age. She continued counting, even though she ran out of numbers.

"Mom, look, Beatrice is holding the sea lion!"
This was Halloween. Wendy got up before7 a.m., threw up for 4 hours, and then. . . was fine. No one else got sick. She suddenly felt well enough to play with her doll.

Better than makeup, she had been eating frozen blueberries.

Continuing to work on their pumpkins after church. We didn't actually do the carving in those dresses.

"That's not really a monster. That's just my Daddy pretending," Wendy told every single person we met. They weren't afraid of him at all.

We were extra excited for the Scooby Doo mystery machine photo op since the Hex Girls are a band from Scooby Doo.

Theo got an award for being prepared, another for getting in the highest score range for reading, and a third for being in the highest score range for math.
