So we took my nieces and nephews on a BYU tour. The only disappointment was that they didn't have any girly BYU T Shirts in Megan's size, since they're visiting from out of state and can only get them there.
The Monte L. Bean Museum is apparently closed for the next YEAR, but there was still plenty to do.
At the Museum of Art (MOA) we saw an exhibit on Islam with lots of beautiful artifacts--rugs, statues, huge books a foot by a foot with real gold for lettering and decorative texts and pictures, painted vases, even calligraphy art. The calligraphy one was words making up a whole diagram, in wandering directions. It was so amazing... and yet the plaque says it's illegible. I hope the words used to be able to be understood. They also had a display about the thousands names of God. Some of them included The Giver of All, The Opener, The Humiliator, The Knower of All... the list goes on.
Sakura and Megan really loved these displays.
In fact, Sakura was getting into the displays so much that when we went to the bookstore a bit later she said in wonder, "Wow! Look at THIS statue!" and pointed to the mannequin with the BYU Tee.
We also went to Brick Oven and had the out-of-staters to apple beer. Mostly we were thirsty and hungry and went away so happy.

| Sakura before the Steele Days parade. How patriotic! |
| The puppies had a sleepover, together the same night Sakura spent the night with Megan. |
| Three children posing in front of child statues. You can't see it, but the boy statue holds a frog! |
| We forgot bread, so we fed the ducks the goldfish crackers we brought for the kids |
| Hmmm. Should I eat this, or feed it to the smallest duckling? |
| So cute! |
| Jay's niece's begged to be carried just like this everywhere. My husband sure is strong and nice! |
