Miri, Jay, Wendy
Jay is such a good daddy!
I love and appreciate Jay so much!

This was also Father's Day. The girls were napping. He has so many littles he got separate pictures with them :)

The girls have figured out how to escape the gate in the living room, so we've taken it down -- well, Wendy kept jumping off the top of the back of the couch to freedom. The first time she did it into a basket of clean laundry. Jay moved the laundry, so she did it onto the bare floor and got hurt. 15 minutes later I found her trying to lower herself down from the couch. So we gave up and let them free. On this morning I decided to put toddler songs on the TV for them so I could have 10 minutes to do my hair. They were very good and I thought, "I really think they are still in the living room! They aren't getting into the dog food or anything." It turned out that Theo had left his snacks down and they were helping themselves. That's why they were so content. Poor Theo is learning more about being a big brother now that they are getting into his things. |

| She put on Theo's boxing gloves by herself. She's ready. |

Theo watched a video on how to make your own sugar rock candy and then told me instructions so we could do it together.
At one point he said we needed to roll the wet chopstick in sugar. Because the sugar was on a plate and the plate was domed and the chopstick straight, it didn't work. Theo said, annoyed, "This must be one of those TikTok hacks that doesn't work!"
He doesn't even know what TikTok is, but he's heard crafting YouTubers discuss their dubious hacks. Lol. I got a tray to roll the chopsticks in sugar and we proceeded.
It will wasn't working very well so Jay troubleshooted it and the candy was successfully made and devoured. |

| A week or two ago Theo told me that he wanted to be a construction worker when he grows up and that maybe one day Daddy and I can live in a house that HE built.
We discussed the many different jobs to build a house and the next day he played snap circuits for several hours, leaning about electricity. |
 |
| Wendy asleep under the chair. Jay has added a cushion since we can't convince her to sleep on the mattress we have for her and she climbs out of the crib. She's so cute! |
 |
| Theo bought this Poke-A-Dot counting book over a year ago with his own money because he wanted to buy something the girls would like too. He was right. They love this book with things you can pop on each page. |
