Curtains

For the dining room.

 In the picture of the kitchen window there's a line of ivory fabric at the bottom I'm going to make a valance out of that material for this as well as tie backs.

I'm so happy about how this valance turned out! The blue and the ivory go together well and I think it contrasts neatly with the shade of purple on my bird banner that the Burkes made Jay and me for our wedding.

Yesterday Jay and I began our fast and then went to the temple here in Sacramento. That's really exciting to add another temple on my list. Surprisingly, it was a Spanish session, but they provide headphones to translate it.
My other big project was these curtains, which aren't finished, but I'm still really proud of them so far. I mostly wanted color into my kitchen, but this turned out really well so far, plus adds the bright blue to make the room happier.
The dining room ones aren't done! It's a picture in progress! They're pretty boring right now, but will look better with an ivory valance and tie backs.
