A bit of SNOW and library story time

On February 15, we got some SNOW in Tucson! This was surprising and we threw a bunch of snowballs at each other.

Wendy talked me into helping her bake a cake one day. I said that we're having a cake. We must be celebrating. What are we celebrating?

She answered, "The cake!"
Circular thinking. Also I like it.

Wendy and her ice chunk

They were waiting where Jay told them to wait. I think he just hit the awning on top of the playground to send all the snow on top falling onto the kids.

Jay and the kids made me cookies for Valentine's day. Theo gave me one that he made because he loves me.

I told them they needed to eat over the tile. They proceeded to run to the living room, explaining that there was tile there. They were so proud of gaming the system.

Wendy wanted to wear a dress that matched her dolly, Beatrice. Miri wanted to match Wendy and then she wanted her doll, Adrey to match her.

We like to ride on the sidewalk in front of the playground

They love these scooters, bought with money that their Great Grandma Vidinha gave them

We finally made it to their very first library story time! They had lots of fun

Shaker

See what's missing? His 2 front teeth!

We were looking for gloves at Target. Wendy hugged all the mannequins, calling them either "Mommy" or "Daddy."

Making silly faces. This was the day that Jay rented a carpet cleaner and cleaned our carpets on his day off. (Thanks, Jay) We were just spending time elsewhere, in this case a parking lot.

Parking lots are fun places. We eventually went inside and picked out snacks.

I promise that we didn't spend all that day in a parking lot while Jay cleaned the carpets. That was just when I had the camera out. They were having a lot of fun with pictures. We picked out snacks and then later went to a thrift store and the girls looked at the toys. Miri got a giant puzzle that had all of the pieces with Minnie and Daisy on it. Wendy found a cool snake magnifying glass that she actually had enough money for. Wendy likes to go lots of places and has spent almost all of her money. Miri has $7 left.
