Every year Jay takes a New Year's dip in the pool.

But this year brave Theo joined him.

The girls are both over 5 pounds now and we're so excited. They need to have fewer alarms on the monitors and get eating by mouth before they go home.
They have both started trying a little to eat by mouth rather than tube. Yesterday Miri tried so hard and so fast. She rapidly went suck-suck-suck-swallow-suck-swallow-breathe-breathe-breathe-breathe-breathe. And she definitely drank some. Yay!
Today Wendy gave it a try. She followed the exact same pattern but went at about half the speed of Miri. Miri had oxygenation alarms go off and probably also drank more milk. Wendy was calm.
I feel like their personalities are already apparent -- Wendy is more cautious and laid back and Miri likes to just try. She also lets you know when she wants something.
